Business Intelligence Intern

About the Role

The Business Intelligence Intern role at KATCH GO is a full-time, on-site position based in Ahmedabad. The intern will assist in collecting, cleaning, and analyzing operational and ticketing data to support data-driven decision-making across the organization. This position offers exposure to modern BI tools and methodologies in a fast-evolving transport technology environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare dashboards and reports.
• Support data modeling and warehousing activities.
• Assist in implementing ETL processes under guidance.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate business requirements into actionable insights.
• Present findings in a clear, structured manner.

Requirements & Tech Stack

• Analytical Skills to interpret complex datasets, identify trends, and support data-driven recommendations.
• Data Analytics skills, including experience with basic statistical analysis, data visualization, and BI/reporting tools.
• Data Warehousing and Data Modeling skills to help structure, organize, and maintain data for reporting and analysis.
• Extract Transform Load (ETL) processes to assist in integrating data from multiple sources into consistent, usable formats.
• Familiarity with SQL or similar query languages.
• Proficiency in Excel or spreadsheet tools.
• Exposure to Python or R for data analysis.

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Data Science, Statistics, or a related field.
• Strong interest in business intelligence and public transport technology.
• Ability to work on-site in Ahmedabad.
• Ability to collaborate within diverse teams.
• Ability to communicate findings clearly.
• Ability to manage tasks with attention to detail.
