About the Role
Umrao Dental Clinic is seeking an Associate Dentist to provide a full range of general dental services. This is a full-time, on-site role based in Deoria.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide general dental services, including diagnosis, treatment planning, and execution of procedures such as restorations, extractions, preventive care, and basic endodontic treatments.
- Examine patients and interpret diagnostic tests.
- Ensure accurate clinical records.
- Educate patients on oral health and treatment options.
- Work closely with dental assistants and support staff to maintain infection control standards and efficient patient flow.
- Participate in case discussions.
- Follow clinic protocols.
- Contribute to a positive, respectful work environment.
Requirements & Tech Stack
- BDS degree or equivalent.
- Valid registration with the appropriate dental council or regulatory body.
- Clinical skills in examination, diagnosis, treatment planning, restorative procedures, extractions, and preventive dentistry.
- Strong patient communication and counseling skills.
- Sound knowledge of infection control, sterilization protocols, and adherence to clinical safety and hygiene standards.
- Good record-keeping and documentation abilities, including accurate charting and prescription writing.
- Teamwork and collaboration skills.
- Commitment to continuous learning.
- Familiarity with handling pediatric and geriatric patients is an advantage.
- Prior clinical experience or internship in a dental clinic setting is beneficial.
