About the Role
- A full-time, on-site position based in Mumbai.
- Responsible for visiting customers in person to discuss outstanding dues, verify information, and facilitate timely repayments.
Key Responsibilities
- Visit customers in person to discuss outstanding dues.
- Verify customer information.
- Facilitate timely repayments in accordance with company policies and regulatory guidelines.
- Maintain accurate records of collections activities.
- Update systems with visit outcomes.
- Prepare basic reports for supervisors and client partners.
- Build respectful relationships with customers.
- Address customer queries.
- Explain repayment options.
- Escalate complex cases as needed.
- Collaborate with internal teams to share updates, resolve account issues, and support continuous improvement in collection processes.
Requirements & Tech Stack
- Debt Collection skills (including field follow-ups, negotiation, and adherence to compliance standards)
- Analytical Skills
- Customer Service skills
- Communication skills (verbal and written)
- Basic Finance understanding
- Familiarity with local Mumbai geography
- Ability to work independently
- Valid driving license
Qualifications
- Minimum of a high school diploma or equivalent.
- Graduate degree in commerce, finance, or a related field is preferred.
- Prior experience in field collections or banking/NBFC roles is beneficial.
