About the Role

Saatvik Agro is seeking an Executive Software Engineer for a full-time, on-site position in Morena, Madhya Pradesh, India. This role is open to fresh graduates and experienced technology professionals.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, test, integrate, maintain, troubleshoot, and improve software applications, backend services, APIs, databases, dashboards, internal platforms, automation solutions, and enterprise systems.
• Collaborate with software, IT, data, analytics, operations, production, supply chain, finance, sales, and other business teams.

Requirements & Tech Stack

• Programming Languages: Basic to good knowledge of Java, Python, JavaScript, TypeScript, C#, C++, Go, PHP, or similar.
• Object-Oriented Programming Concepts: Understanding of object-oriented programming, data structures, algorithms, functions, classes, exception handling, debugging, modular programming, clean code, and software-development fundamentals.
• Backend Frameworks: Familiarity with Spring Boot, Django, Flask, FastAPI, Node.js, Express.js, .NET, or similar is beneficial.
• Frontend Technologies: Exposure to HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, TypeScript, React, Angular, Vue.js, Next.js, or similar frameworks is beneficial.
• APIs & Web Services: Basic to good understanding of REST APIs, JSON, HTTP/HTTPS, web services, authentication, authorization, API integration, and system integration.
• Databases: Familiarity with SQL, MySQL, PostgreSQL, SQL Server, Oracle, MongoDB, Redis, or similar relational and NoSQL databases is beneficial.
• Database Concepts: Understanding of database design, normalization, joins, indexing, transactions, schemas, CRUD operations, queries, and basic query optimization is advantageous.
• Version Control: Familiarity with Git, GitHub, version control, branching, pull requests, code reviews, debugging, and collaborative software-development workflows.
• Testing Frameworks: Exposure to JUnit, PyTest, Jest, Mockito, Cypress, Playwright, Postman, unit testing, integration testing, API testing, or automated testing is beneficial.
• Cloud & DevOps: Exposure to AWS, Microsoft Azure, Google Cloud, Docker, Kubernetes, Jenkins, GitHub Actions, CI/CD, or similar cloud and DevOps technologies is considered an advantage.
• Linux & Deployment: Basic understanding of Linux, command-line tools, application deployment, environment configuration, logging, monitoring, and production-support concepts is beneficial.
• Microservices & Distributed Systems: Exposure to microservices architecture, distributed systems, Kafka, RabbitMQ, Redis, caching, message queues, asynchronous processing, or event-driven applications is advantageous but not mandatory.
• Security Concepts: Familiarity with OAuth, JWT, role-based access control, secure coding, input validation, API security, authentication, authorization, and application-security concepts is beneficial.
• Performance & Reliability: Exposure to application performance optimization, database tuning, scalability, reliability, caching strategies, observability, and troubleshooting is considered an advantage.
• Additional Skills: Exposure to automation, scripting, data engineering, analytics, AI/ML, generative AI, ERP, CRM, dashboards, reporting systems, or enterprise applications is an additional advantage.
• Agile Methodologies: Familiarity with Agile, Scrum, Jira, SDLC, technical documentation, requirements gathering, user stories, sprint planning, or issue tracking is advantageous but not mandatory.
• Problem-Solving: Good analytical, logical, debugging, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
• Communication & Teamwork: Good communication, documentation, collaboration, and teamwork abilities.
• Requirement Translation: Ability to understand business and technical requirements and translate them into practical, reliable, scalable, maintainable, and secure software solutions.
• Learning Aptitude: Strong willingness to learn new programming languages, frameworks, APIs, databases, cloud platforms, testing tools, and modern software-engineering practices.
• On-site Work: Willingness to work in an on-site environment.

Qualifications

• Education: B.E. / B.Tech / B.Sc. / BCA / MCA / M.Sc. / M.Tech in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, Computer Applications, Data Science, Artificial Intelligence, or a related discipline.
• Experience: Freshers and candidates with 0–5 years of experience in software engineering, software development, application development, backend development, frontend development, full stack development, web development, API development, or related technology roles are encouraged to apply.
• Candidates without previous full-time software-development experience can also apply.
• Internship, academic project, software project, coding project, backend project, frontend project, full stack project, API project, database project, GitHub project, hackathon, freelance assignment, startup project, or open-source contribution will be considered but is not mandatory.
