Key Responsibilities

• Analyze business requirements, functional specifications, and technical design documents.
• Design and execute test cases, test scenarios, and test scripts.
• Perform Functional, System, Regression, Integration, End-to-End, and User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
• Validate Mainframe batch jobs, online transactions, and business workflows.
• Perform file validation and data reconciliation between source and target systems.
• Execute database and backend testing using Mainframe data sources.
• Validate interfaces between Mainframe and distributed applications.
• Identify, log, track, and retest defects through closure.
• Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies and QA activities.
• Prepare test execution reports, defect summaries, and status updates.

Requirements & Tech Stack

• Mainframe Technologies
• Strong experience in Mainframe Testing.
• Hands-on experience with:
• IBM z/OS
• TSO/ISPF
• JCL (Job Control Language)
• VSAM
• CICS
• COBOL Applications
• DB2
• IMS (preferred)
• Ability to understand and validate Mainframe batch and online processes.
