About the Role

A full-time, on-site position based in Mumbai, performing high-precision welding in 6G positions on pipes and structural components.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform high-precision welding in 6G positions on pipes and structural components using various welding processes according to job specifications and safety standards.
• Interpret engineering drawings.
• Prepare materials and equipment.
• Set up welding machines.
• Execute welds that meet quality and compliance requirements.
• Inspect and test welds.
• Perform basic maintenance on tools and equipment.
• Collaborate with supervisors and teammates to meet project timelines.
• Follow safety protocols.
• Maintain a clean work area.
• Adhere to company and site regulations.

Requirements & Tech Stack

• 6G welding proficiency.
• Arc Welding.
• TIG Welding.
• MIG Welding.
• Ability to read and interpret welding symbols, blueprints, and technical drawings.
• Familiarity with industry safety standards, use of personal protective equipment, and safe handling of welding equipment.

Qualifications

• Strong general welding skills.
• Specialized process skills for different materials and joint types.
• Knowledge of Materials, including properties of metals, appropriate filler materials, and material handling practices.
• Relevant welding certification or trade qualification.
• Prior experience in 6G welding or pipe welding is highly beneficial.
• Good physical stamina.
• Manual dexterity.
• Attention to detail.
• Ability to work in varied site conditions.
