About the Role
- Provides nursing care for a group of patients assigned to the nurse based on matching the patients’ needs with the nurse' competencies.
- Completes established competencies for the position within designated introductory period.
- Other related duties as assigned.
- This position may qualify for a sign-on bonus.
Requirements & Tech Stack
- Registered Nurse (RN) license in Texas
- Active healthcare provider Basic Life Support (BLS) certification on hire (ARC or AHA). Must obtain AHA Healthcare Provider BLS within 60 days of hire.
- For RN in Behavioral Health: Non-Violent Crisis Intervention must be obtained within 60 days of hire or transfer into the department.
Qualifications
- Education: Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
- Preferred Education: Bachelor's Degree.
- Minimum Experience: None for Med/Surg and Behavioral Health. 1 year in acute/chronic dialysis for Dialysis.
- Preferred Experience: 2 years in acute care for Med/Surg. 2 years in a psychiatric facility for Behavioral Health. 2 years acute/chronic dialysis for Dialysis.
