About the Role
The Maintenance/Shop Management Trainee Program is a 24-week, hands-on job experience designed for recently graduated or soon-to-be graduating seniors. This program offers the opportunity to become part of a team, expand experience, actively participate in all areas of Dayton Freight's operations, and gain knowledge of the Company, culture, and the Transportation Industry. Upon completion, trainees will be equipped with future-based leadership skills to confidently take on a leadership position within one of our Shops.
Key Responsibilities
- Learn the LTL Industry
- Gain experience in Operations
- Develop Leadership skills
- Develop Shop and Maintenance knowledge
Qualifications
- Must possess a valid Bachelor's degree from an accredited college
- Must be willing to relocate to any Service Center
- Must be willing to work a rotation of 1st, 2nd, and 3rd shift (during training)
