About the Role
The Middle Market Trainee, working under direct supervision, is responsible to acquire knowledge, experience, skills, and business acumen in an assigned area. The role completes educational, work, and relationship-building experiences, participates in all assignments, solicits feedback, and closes knowledge and skill gaps.
Key Responsibilities
- Acquire knowledge, experience, skills, and business acumen in the assigned area to develop into a professional.
- Assist leaders, teams, or business units with assigned work, including project work and coverage of day-to-day activities.
- Develop business acumen through interactions and shadowing with other professionals.
- Attend business unit meetings, execute research, and create and deliver assigned presentations.
- Prepare for and engage in one-on-one, online, and on-the-job learning assignments.
- Develop operating knowledge of company standardized hardware, software programs, third-party software, and processing procedures.
- Understand key concepts and apply business skills through learning programs, structured on-the-job experiences, and active participation.
- Solicit and incorporate feedback from leaders, peer coaches, and others into development.
- Identify resources, best practices, and external networking opportunities to monitor industry activity and trends.
- Maintain awareness, understanding, and compliance with internal policies, procedures, laws, and regulations.
Requirements & Tech Stack
- High School Diploma or General Education Diploma (GED) and/or commensurate experience.
- Bachelor's degree in Risk Management, Finance, or Business preferred.
- Hybrid work environment (three or more days per week in the office).
- Potential relocation after the Trainee program is complete.
