Business Development Specialist

About the Role

The Business Development Specialist is a full-time, on-site role based in Pune, responsible for driving qualified opportunities and supporting revenue growth for Market Disc Media’s clients. The role involves conducting market and account research, understanding buyer pain points, and tailoring messaging to align with client-specific value propositions.

Key Responsibilities

• Identify and qualify target accounts using internal tools and data.
• Execute outreach campaigns across phone, email, and digital channels.
• Schedule discovery and follow-up meetings for the sales team.
• Conduct market and account research.
• Understand buyer pain points.
• Tailor messaging to align with client-specific value propositions.
• Collaborate closely with marketing and sales teams.
• Maintain accurate records in CRM systems.
• Provide feedback on campaign performance to improve lead quality and conversion rates.

Requirements & Tech Stack

• Analytical Skills: Ability to interpret data-driven insights for account targeting and opportunity qualification.
• Communication skills: Clear written and verbal communication for outreach and stakeholder interaction.
• Lead Generation skills: Experience in prospecting, cold calling, qualifying opportunities, and managing pipelines in B2B environments.
• Market Research skills: Ability to assess industries, accounts, and buyer personas and translate findings into actionable strategies.
• Customer Service skills: Responsiveness, professionalism, and relationship-building with prospects and clients.
• Familiarity with CRM platforms.
• Comfort working with AI-enabled sales and marketing tools.
• Strong organizational abilities.
• Proactive, goal-oriented mindset.

Qualifications

• A bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, communications, or a related field is preferred.
• Prior experience in B2B business development or inside sales is preferred.
