About the Role

Padmavathi Jewellers-Nesapakkam is seeking a full-time, on-site Salesperson to join their team in Chennai. This role involves providing a welcoming in-store experience and upholding high standards of professionalism and integrity.

Key Responsibilities

• Greet customers and understand their requirements.
• Recommend suitable jewelry pieces, explaining product features, pricing, and care instructions.
• Handle customer inquiries.
• Showcase jewelry collections.
• Support billing and packaging processes.
• Maintain visual merchandising standards in the showroom.
• Build customer relationships and manage follow-ups.
• Contribute to daily sales targets.
• Maintain store cleanliness.
• Work closely with the store team to ensure a smooth customer experience and adherence to company policies.

Requirements & Tech Stack

• Ability to stand for extended periods.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced showroom environment.
• Ability to work weekends and peak seasons.

Qualifications

• Strong customer service and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage warmly and professionally with diverse customers.
• Good communication skills in English, Tamil, and Hindi languages, with clear, polite, and confident speaking abilities.
• Basic sales and negotiation skills, including the ability to understand customer needs and close sales ethically.
• Attention to detail and basic numeracy for handling billing, cash, and inventory-related tasks accurately.
• Prior experience in Diamond jeweler retail sales will be given priority.
• Minimum educational qualification of high school completion.
• Additional training in retail, sales, or customer service is beneficial.
• Reliability, integrity, and a professional appearance consistent with luxury retail standards.
