About the Role
Restaurant cashiers at Love's Travel Stops are responsible for delivering excellent customer service by providing efficient and friendly service in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform general customer service duties, including taking customer food orders, answering menu questions, and addressing customer needs.
- Balance a cash register and identify additional sales opportunities.
- Accurately and safely prepare customer orders at various kitchen stations (e.g., sandwich making, fry station, grill station).
- Ensure proper food safety conditions using various methods and technologies to deliver fresh and safe products.
- Cross-train in other departments such as Store Cashier, Fresh Kitchen, Facility Maintenance, and leadership roles.
- Ability to move and lift 25+ pounds.
- Ability to work in various temperatures.
