Sales Executive (2027 Graduate Program)

About the Role

Engtal is a fast-growing staffing firm seeking ambitious graduates to join its Chicago sales team. This is a fast-paced, sales-focused role where you will build a specialist market, develop client and candidate relationships, and manage the recruitment process end-to-end.

Key Responsibilities

• Prospect for new business and develop client relationships via calls, email, LinkedIn, and networking events.
• Meet with clients to understand their businesses, hiring challenges, and talent needs.
• Build a strong personal brand through social media and create engaging content to attract clients and candidates.
• Headhunt high-performing professionals within your specialist market.
• Conduct candidate screening and qualification calls.
• Manage the interview process from candidate submission through to offer.
• Negotiate fees, salaries, and employment offers.
• Attend and host networking events, becoming a trusted voice within your market.
• Build and manage your own client and candidate network.

Requirements & Tech Stack

• Graduating in Spring or Summer 2027.
• A genuine interest in building a career in sales.
• Some previous sales experience (part-time job, internship, side hustle, or similar).
• Ability to work full-time from the Chicago office after graduation.
• A strong work ethic and willingness to go the extra mile.
• A competitive, ambitious, and goal-oriented mindset.
• Confidence communicating with different types of people.
• Resilience and the ability to respond positively to challenges and setbacks.

Qualifications

• An expected GPA of 3.0 or higher is preferred.
• Degrees in Business, Marketing, and Entrepreneurship are preferred, but all degree backgrounds will be considered.
