About the Role
Kalakar Media is a creative media company focused on producing high-quality video content for digital, broadcast, and social platforms. This is a full-time, on-site Video Editor role based in Noida. The Video Editor will work closely with producers, directors, and other creative team members to edit raw footage into polished, compelling videos that align with project objectives and brand guidelines.
Key Responsibilities
- Organizing and assembling footage.
- Selecting music and sound effects.
- Applying transitions.
- Performing color grading.
- Creating basic motion graphics to enhance visual impact.
- Collaborating on story structure.
- Incorporating feedback from stakeholders.
- Preparing final exports for various platforms and formats.
- Managing multiple projects.
- Meeting deadlines.
- Maintaining consistency in quality and style.
Requirements & Tech Stack
- Strong skills in Video Editing and Video Production for short-form and long-form content.
- Skills in Video Color Grading.
- Abilities in Motion Graphics and Graphics to create titles, lower thirds, and visual elements.
- Proficiency with industry-standard editing software (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or similar).
- Basic familiarity with Adobe After Effects or comparable tools.
- Strong sense of visual storytelling, pacing, and sound design.
- Attention to detail and quality.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with a creative team.
- Ability to respond constructively to feedback.
- Ability to manage time and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Qualifications
- Relevant education or training in film, media, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- A portfolio or showreel demonstrating past work is required.
