About the Role
We’re looking for a Junior Backend Developer who enjoys solving problems, building APIs, and learning how real-world backend systems work. You’ll work with our team to develop and maintain backend services while gaining hands-on experience with Python and API development.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain backend services using Python.
- Build and integrate REST APIs using FastAPI or Flask.
- Work with databases such as PostgreSQL or MySQL.
- Handle JSON data, API requests, responses, and error handling.
- Integrate third-party APIs and backend services.
- Write clean, maintainable, and testable code.
- Debug issues and help improve application performance.
- Use Git and GitHub for version control and collaboration.
Requirements & Tech Stack
- Basic knowledge of Python.
- Understanding of REST APIs and HTTP methods.
- Familiarity with FastAPI or Flask.
- Basic SQL and database concepts.
- Understanding of JSON, exception handling, and debugging.
- Familiarity with Git and GitHub.
- Willingness to learn, take feedback, and work independently.
Good to Have
- Experience with PostgreSQL or MySQL.
- Knowledge of API testing using Postman.
- Basic understanding of pytest and automated testing.
- Personal projects or contributions on GitHub.
