Backend developer(internhip & remote role)

About the Role

LeadVaultAI is building AI-native buyer intelligence infrastructure that transforms real-time market signals into qualified B2B pipeline. This is a remote internship role for a Backend Developer. The intern will contribute to designing, building, and maintaining backend services that power AI-driven buyer intelligence workflows.

Key Responsibilities

• Implement RESTful or GraphQL APIs.
• Integrate with external data sources.
• Optimize database queries.
• Ensure the reliability and scalability of microservices.
• Write clean, testable code.
• Participate in code reviews.
• Collaborate with AI, product, and frontend teams to ship features and improve existing systems.
• Gain exposure to modern backend architectures, data pipelines, and cloud infrastructure.

Requirements & Tech Stack

• Strong foundations in backend programming (e.g., Python, Node.js, Go, or similar).
• Experience building APIs or server-side applications.
• Understanding of databases and data storage (e.g., SQL/NoSQL databases, basic schema design, query optimization).
• Familiarity with web frameworks and backend tooling (e.g., Django/FastAPI, Express.js, or comparable frameworks).
• Knowledge of cloud and devops basics (e.g., Docker, Git, CI/CD concepts, working with cloud platforms such as AWS, GCP, or Azure).
• Exposure to data processing or AI/ML workflows is a plus (e.g., integrating with AI APIs, building data ingestion or ETL pipelines).

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• Ability to write clean, maintainable code, follow best practices, and work collaboratively in a remote, distributed team.
• Strong problem-solving skills.
• Willingness to learn quickly.
• Interest in B2B SaaS, sales intelligence, or AI-driven products.
