About the Role
A B S H & ASSOCIATES is a tech-focused Chartered Accountancy firm founded in 2016, specializing in providing consultancy, audit, and compliance services to banks (especially co-operative banks), corporate, and high-net-worth individual clients. This is a full-time, on-site Articleship position in Mumbai.
Key Responsibilities
- Assisting in statutory and internal audits.
- Assisting in tax audits.
- Assisting in compliance reviews for banks, corporates, and individual clients.
- Supporting the preparation and review of working papers, documentation, and reports.
- Helping maintain accurate records for audit and compliance assignments.
- Data analysis.
- Vouching.
- Verification of financial statements.
- Coordinating with team members to meet engagement timelines.
- Gaining exposure to advisory work.
- Learning to interpret regulations.
- Learning to apply standards under the guidance of senior professionals.
Qualifications
- Strong foundational knowledge of accounting, auditing, and taxation.
- Interest in consultancy and compliance-related work.
- Comfort working with technology-driven tools and software commonly used in CA practice, including spreadsheets and audit/compliance applications.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to document findings clearly and interact professionally.
- Attention to detail.
- Analytical thinking.
- Ability to manage time and multiple assignments in a structured manner.
- Enrollment in Chartered Accountancy course (as per Articleship eligibility requirements).
- Willingness to learn and adhere to professional ethics and standards.
