About the Role
Podar ORT International School requires an EYP Teacher for its Worli Unit, in Mumbai.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan and deliver engaging, age-appropriate learning experiences
- Foster holistic development – social, emotional, physical, language, and cognitive
- Create a safe, inclusive, and stimulating classroom environment
- Encourage inquiry, creativity, and independent thinking among children
- Observe, assess, and document student progress regularly
- Maintain effective communication with parents regarding child development
- Integrate storytelling, music, art, movement, and hands-on activities into learning
- Collaborate with co-teachers and coordinators for curriculum planning
- Ensure classroom management, student well-being, and safety standards
- Participate in school events, training, and IB professional development programmes
Requirements & Tech Stack
- Understanding of IB PYP philosophy and inquiry-based learning approach
- Proficiency in English communication and basic technology usage
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree with ECCEd / Montessori / Nursery Teacher Training / B.Ed. (preferred)
- Prior experience in Pre-Primary / Early Years education preferred
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Passion for working with young children and creating joyful learning experiences
- Creativity, patience, empathy, and classroom management skills
- IB training/workshop certification will be an added advantage
Other Notes:
- Flexibility to work across the Early Years Section, as per school requirements.
- Time: Full Time, 7:30 AM to 3:30 PM (02 days till 4:30 PM), Monday to Saturday.
- Salary up to 50K Max pm depending upon last drawn salary.

- Preference will be given to IB trained candidates.
