About the Role

Thyme & Whisk is looking for a well-presented, friendly, and guest-focused Guest Relations Associate to create a welcoming dining experience for guests. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing guest interactions, handling reservations, coordinating seating arrangements, and ensuring high standards of hospitality and customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

• Welcome and greet guests warmly, ensuring a positive first impression.
• Manage reservations, walk-ins, waiting lists, and seating arrangements.
• Assist guests with inquiries regarding the menu, restaurant services, and reservations.
• Coordinate with the restaurant manager and service team to ensure a smooth dining experience.
• Build positive relationships with guests and ensure their comfort and satisfaction.
• Handle guest feedback, requests, and complaints professionally, escalating issues when necessary.
• Follow up with guests during their visit to ensure satisfaction with the service.
• Support guest engagement initiatives to encourage repeat visits and customer loyalty.
• Maintain a professional appearance and ensure the reception area remains neat and organized.
• Uphold the restaurant's hospitality standards and brand image at all times.

Requirements

• Previous experience in guest relations, hospitality, restaurants, or customer service is preferred.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Pleasant personality with professional grooming and a positive attitude.
• Strong guest-handling, coordination, and problem-solving skills.
• Customer-focused approach with attention to detail.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced restaurant environment.
• Flexibility to work rotational shifts, weekends, and public holidays.
