About the Role
Join the Sam's Club freezer, cooler, and deli team where you'll play a crucial role in stocking shelves and maintaining the operational and sanitary conditions of these areas. You will also provide front-line customer service in the deli department.
Key Responsibilities
- Ensuring high-quality products are cared for and available for members.
- Maintaining clean shelves, monitoring temperature control, verifying expiration dates, and disposing of lesser-quality food products.
- Packing ready-to-sell products and stocking displays.
- Maintaining a clean, sanitized, and member-ready area.
- Maintaining the safety of the facility by following all safety standards, procedures, and guidelines.
- Maintaining sales floor and merchandise presentation in the Freezer/Cooler/Deli area.
- Providing member service by acknowledging members, identifying needs, locating merchandise, assisting with purchasing decisions, providing Deli products, resolving issues, and promoting company products and services.
- Following company policies and procedures related to the Freezer/Cooler area, including food handling, equipment operation and sanitation, and Cold Chain procedures.
- Cleaning the freezer/cooler/deli area.
- Monitoring freezer/cooler fans, drains, and doors for proper operation.
- Reporting issues to Management.

Qualifications
- Must be 18 years of age or older.
- Must successfully complete all job-required trainings and assessments within a prescribed time period.
