About the Role
The Laboratory Technician I supports laboratory operations through general maintenance of laboratory and supply storage areas, equipment, instruments, and supplies, using general laboratory methods, techniques, equipment, and instrumentation in compliance with Eurofins Environment Testing America’s Quality Assurance programs and standard operating procedures. The lab performs Indoor Air Quality testing. This role works in the TEM (Transmission Electron Microscopy) Department.
Key Responsibilities
- Performs sample preparation which may include, but is not limited to, a combination of the following methods:
- Bulk
- AHERA
- Soil
- Dust
- Performs sample log in.
- Performs equipment calibrations, daily balance checks, thermometer checks, and other basic lab activities.
- Maintains, cleans, and prepares glassware and other laboratory appliances for use in TEM sample preparation.
- Stocks laboratory supplies.
- Conducts all activities in a safe and efficient manner.
- Assists other laboratory areas as needed.
Requirements & Tech Stack
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- High school Chemistry coursework.
- Basic laboratory experience.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced and evolving environment.
- Responsible, reliable, and a good team player; enjoys routine work.
- Experience with production work.
- Good communication, organizational, and computer skills.
- Good attention to detail.
- Problem-solving skills.
- Ability to multi-task.
- Experience handling micropipettes and tweezers is preferred.
- Authorization to work in the United States indefinitely without restriction or sponsorship.
- Professional working proficiency in English, including the ability to read, write, and speak English.
Position Details
- Full-time position, Monday - Friday, 9:00 am – 5:00 pm.
- Occasional weekend work is needed.

- Pay rate: $18/hr
