About the Role
Love's cashiers work in a fast-paced environment, maintaining clean spaces with friendly faces. They provide fast, friendly, and accurate services for customers. Flexibility and teamwork skills are important, as duties may vary based on business needs.
Key Responsibilities
- General customer service duties, including helping customers find items, answering questions about products and services, and addressing customer needs.
- Balancing a cash register by completing customer transactions and offering additional sales opportunities while following all state and local laws.
- Using a variety of methods and technology to ensure proper food safety conditions of fresh food and deli products.
- Responsibility for cleaning your direct working area, the sales floor, restrooms, showers, gas/diesel pumps, and completing trash runs.
- Additional duties may include cross-training in other departments such as Restaurant Services, Fresh Kitchen, Facility Maintenance, and leadership roles.
- Ability to move and lift 25+ pounds.
- Ability to work in various temperatures.
