About the Role
Pace Medical Maintenance, Inc. is seeking a motivated, dependable, and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a part-time Biomedical Equipment Technician. No prior experience is necessary; training will be provided. This role is ideal for individuals with an interest or background in computers, IT, electronics, mechanical work, or technology seeking to develop new skills and gain experience in a specialized technical field.
Key Responsibilities
- Test and evaluate various types of medical equipment at healthcare facilities.
- Perform equipment testing according to established procedures.
- Complete and submit work orders and testing documentation accurately and on time.
- Travel to medical facilities throughout Miami-Dade and Broward counties.
Requirements & Tech Stack
- Basic computer skills and general technical aptitude.
- An interest in learning about medical equipment and healthcare technology.
- Reliability, professionalism, and strong attention to detail.
- Good organization skills and the ability to meet deadlines.
- A reliable vehicle and the ability to travel between job sites.
- Previous experience in biomedical equipment, electronics, IT, computer repair, or related technical field is a plus, but not required.
Compensation
- Starting pay of $19-$21 per hour.
- Compensation commensurate with education and experience.
- Travel compensation for work-related travel.
