The Volunteer role at My Algerian Dream is a full-time, remote position focused on supporting the organization’s mission through online collaboration and community engagement.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist with digital outreach campaigns.
• Coordinate virtual events or initiatives.
• Provide administrative support such as data entry, email communication, and document preparation.
• Create and share content across social media or other platforms.
• Respond to inquiries from community members.
• Contribute ideas to improve programs and services.
• Work closely with a distributed team.
• Attend virtual meetings.
• Complete assigned tasks within agreed timelines.
• Act with professionalism, cultural sensitivity, and a strong commitment to the organization’s goals.

Qualifications

• Ability to communicate clearly in written and spoken English, with strong active listening skills.
• Comfort using common digital tools (email, video conferencing, shared documents) and learning new platforms as needed.
• Strong organizational skills, including time management, attention to detail, and reliability in meeting deadlines.
• Capacity to work independently in a remote setting while collaborating effectively with a diverse, multicultural team.
• Demonstrated interest in social impact, community development, cultural exchange, or nonprofit work.
• Adaptability, problem-solving skills, and a positive, solution-oriented approach to new challenges.
• Prior volunteer or community engagement experience is beneficial but not required.
• Availability to commit to a full-time schedule and maintain consistent online presence during agreed working hours.
