QA Testing Intern

About the Role

UNCRYPT is seeking detail-oriented QA Testing Interns to test their web application, validate functionalities, identify defects, and enhance user experience. This role is suitable for students and freshers aiming for hands-on experience in software testing and quality assurance on a real-world web application.

Key Responsibilities

• Test all web application functionalities, workflows, forms, dashboards, and user interactions.
• Create and execute test cases for positive, negative, and edge-case scenarios.
• Identify and document bugs, functional issues, UI inconsistencies, and usability problems.
• Report defects with clear reproduction steps, screenshots, expected results, and actual results.
• Perform cross-browser and responsive testing across different devices and screen sizes.
• Conduct regression testing to verify fixes and ensure existing functionalities remain operational.
• Maintain test execution records and prepare a comprehensive final testing report.
• Collaborate with the team to communicate findings and validate improvements.

Requirements & Tech Stack

• Basic understanding of websites, web applications, and browser functionality.
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
• Good written communication and documentation skills.
• Familiarity with Excel/Google Sheets and bug-tracking tools is an advantage.
• Knowledge of Postman, API testing, or automation testing is a plus, but not mandatory.

• Students or freshers interested in software testing and quality assurance.
• B.Tech, BCA, MCA, B.Sc. Computer Science students, recent graduates, and aspiring QA professionals looking to build practical software testing skills.

Note: This is an unpaid, remote internship with a 3-month duration.
