Junior Software Tester

About the Role

OM-Sales is a cybersecurity-focused channel sales organization. This is a full-time, on-site Junior Software Tester role based in the Greater Delhi Area. The Junior Software Tester will execute test cases for internal tools and platforms supporting cybersecurity channel sales operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Execute test cases for internal tools and platforms.
• Ensure software features work as intended and are free from major defects.
• Review requirements.
• Prepare test scenarios.
• Execute manual tests.
• Document test results.
• Report issues clearly to development and QA teams.
• Retest resolved defects.
• Maintain test documentation.
• Collaborate closely with product owners and engineers to improve quality and reliability.
• Follow established testing processes.
• Participate in team reviews.
• Contribute to continuous improvement of testing practices.

Qualifications

• Strong Software Testing and Test Execution skills for validating features and identifying defects.
• Solid Quality Assurance and Test Cases skills to design, maintain, and improve structured testing workflows.
• Good Analytical Skills to interpret requirements, understand system behavior, and troubleshoot issues effectively.
• Basic understanding of SDLC and STLC.
• Familiarity with defect tracking tools (e.g., Jira, Bugzilla) is beneficial.
• Exposure to manual testing concepts.
• Knowledge of automation fundamentals or scripting is a plus.
• Ability to document findings clearly.
• Ability to communicate with cross-functional teams.
• Ability to follow standardized processes.
• Detail-oriented mindset.
• Willingness to learn.
• Ability to work on-site in the Greater Delhi Area.
• Diploma or bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related discipline, or equivalent practical experience.
