About the Role
A full-time position for a Logistics Executive specializing in freight forwarding. This role operates during a fixed night shift.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate international import and export shipments.
- Prepare and manage freight forwarding documentation, including Bill of Lading, Shipping Instructions, Commercial Invoice, Packing List, and other shipping documents.
- Track shipments and provide timely updates to customers and internal teams.
- Coordinate with shipping lines, airlines, freight agents, customs brokers, and transport providers.
- Handle booking requests and shipment scheduling.
- Ensure compliance with shipping regulations and customer requirements.
- Maintain accurate shipment records in the logistics management system.
- Resolve shipment delays and operational issues promptly.
- Respond to customer inquiries via email and phone.
- Work closely with internal departments to ensure smooth execution of shipments.
Requirements & Tech Stack
- Good communication skills in English (written and verbal).
- Basic knowledge of freight forwarding and logistics operations.
- Good understanding of international shipping documentation.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Outlook, and MS Office.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
- Attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Commerce, Business Administration, Logistics, Supply Chain, or a related field.
- 03 years of experience in Freight Forwarding, Logistics, Shipping, or Supply Chain.
- Freshers with excellent communication skills and willingness to learn are also encouraged to apply.
Work Details
- Working Days: Monday to Friday
- Shift Timing: 5:00 PM to 2:30 AM
- Location: Vadodara, Gujarat
