About the Role

Millennium Engineering Contractor Pvt Ltd is a growing engineering and contracting company that supports industrial and infrastructure projects. The company values dependable store and material management to keep projects on schedule and within budget.

This is a full-time, on-site Storekeeper role based in the Pune Division.

Key Responsibilities

• Receiving, unloading, and verifying incoming materials.
• Ensuring all items are accurately recorded and stored in designated locations.
• Maintaining inventory records.
• Issuing materials to project teams.
• Monitoring stock levels.
• Coordinating packing and dispatch of materials.
• Organizing the store area for safe and efficient access.
• Operating material-handling equipment where required.
• Supporting regular stock checks and audits.
• Collaborating with procurement, logistics, and site teams to prevent material shortages and minimize discrepancies.

• Inventory Control
• Inventory Management
• Packing
• Unloading
• Forklift Operation or other material-handling equipment
• Basic computer literacy
• Experience with inventory or ERP systems (beneficial)
• Strong attention to detail
• Numerical accuracy
• Record-keeping skills
• Ability to work on-site in a warehouse or yard environment
• Following safety procedures and company policies.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in storekeeping, warehousing, or construction/engineering project sites is an advantage.
• Minimum high school diploma or equivalent.
• Vocational training in logistics or store management is a plus.
