Core Services

• Strong knowledge of NFS, Samba, DNS, NTP, and related infrastructure services.

Monitoring and Troubleshooting

• System resource monitoring and management, log interpretation, problem determination, and resolution.

Backup and Recovery

• Strong knowledge of backup and recovery procedures.

Linux Security

• Hands-on experience with Linux firewall technologies, TCP Wrappers, iptables, and SELinux.
• Very good knowledge of security hardening and auditing.

Virtualization

• Experience in virtualized environments, including basic VMware administration.
• Experience deploying Linux virtual machines on VMware ESX and Nutanix AHV.

Networking

• Very good knowledge of Linux networking, routing, NIC bonding, and related troubleshooting.

Management Consoles

• Familiarity with HPE iLO, HPE OneView, and virtual machine consoles.

Directory Services

• Knowledge of LDAP services is an added advantage.

Reporting and Risk

• Experience preparing capacity reports and risk registers.

Additional Skills

• Experience with Ansible is desirable.
• Knowledge of LDAP services is an added advantage.
