Key Responsibilities
- Practice professional nursing under the supervision of a licensed Registered Nurse.
- Deliver safe patient care utilizing the nursing process: assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation.
- Provide direct patient care within the scope of practice.
- Direct and guide patient/family teaching and activities of other nursing personnel.
- Maintain standards of care within the Medical/Surgical Unit.
- Communicate with physicians about changes in patient's clinical condition, including cardiac monitoring, results of diagnostic studies, and symptomatology.
- Respond quickly and accurately to changes in condition and/or response to treatment.
- Must take the NCLEX-RN within three months of hiring.
Requirements & Tech Stack
- Temporary Practice Permit required.
- BLS (AHA) certificate upon hire and maintain current.
- ACLS (AHA) certificate upon hire and maintain current.
Qualifications
- Graduate from an accredited nursing program.
- Current Temporary Graduate Nurse Permit.
- Current BLS (AHA) certificate.
- Current ACLS (AHA) certificate.
