Overnight Retail Cashier/Customer Service

About the Role

Jacksons Food Stores is seeking an Overnight Cashier to deliver excellent customer service during late-night hours. This role involves processing transactions, maintaining store cleanliness, and creating a welcoming environment.

Shift: 10:00 PM - 7:00 AM

Key Responsibilities

• Greet every customer with a smile, thank them for their business, and invite them back.
• Provide fast, friendly, and accurate checkout service.
• Apply discounts and promotions as applicable while following all company policies and laws related to restricted sales (alcohol, tobacco, etc.).
• Maintain a clean and organized store, inside and out.
• Stock and rotate shelves, coolers, and displays properly.
• Assist with additional store duties as needed.

• Must meet legal age requirements to sell regulated products (alcohol and tobacco).
• NV Only – Must be of legal age to work around slot machines.
• Prior retail or foodservice cashiering experience is a plus.

Physical Requirements

• Frequently required to stand, walk, bend, and twist; reach with hands and arms; climb or balance; stoop, kneel, or crouch; and talk and listen.
• Must frequently lift and/or move up to 20 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 65 pounds.
• Work safely in work conditions that include heat, cold, allergen, noise, and fume/chemical/odor from gasoline and cleaning chemicals.

• Pay: $18.21 - $19.21 an hour.
