Linux System Administrator

Key Responsibilities

• Developing and planning technical specifications for new servers.
• Installation, configuration, and administration of Linux operating systems and associated software.
• Analyzing, diagnosing, and resolving issues related to operating systems and services.
• Monitoring and optimizing the performance of existing servers.
• Managing system security, updates, and backups.
• Preparing and updating technical documentation.

Requirements & Tech Stack

• Knowledge of server system architecture.
• Knowledge of computer network infrastructure.
• Experience in server administration.
• High-level knowledge of virtualization architecture and operating principles.
• Experience administering the following services: DNS, DHCP, NTP, SNMP, AAA, Diameter, LDAP, Kerberos, Nginx/Apache, HAProxy, PostgreSQL/MySQL, NFS/Samba, Postfix, firewalld/nftables/iptables, SELinux, LVM, systemd.
• Experience with automation (Bash/Python/Ansible) and monitoring (Zabbix/Prometheus/Grafana).
• Analytical thinking and logical problem-solving skills.
• Motivation, initiative for seeking new knowledge, and development.
• Communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to manage time effectively and quickly acquire new knowledge.
• Ability to work on multiple tasks simultaneously, prioritizing correctly.
• Communicative level of English.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with scripting and automation (Bash, Python, Ansible).
• Knowledge of containerization and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Relevant certifications (RHCSA, RHCE, LFCS).
