About the Role
The 2027 Summer Internship Program at Exmark, a division of The Toro Company, will run from May 17, 2027, through August 6, 2027. Candidates must be available to start on May 17 and participate through the duration of the program.
Key Responsibilities
- Work within multi-discipline teams to design and develop components and systems (mechanical, electrical, electromechanical, software programming).
- Perform product documentation including Creo solid modeling, print creation, and release process.
- Source, build, and evaluate prototype designs.
- Perform evaluations (physical and FEA) by collecting and analyzing data, and report results to the team.
- Collaborate across all functions of the business and learn about teamwork.
Requirements & Tech Stack
- Must be pursuing a degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline at an accredited college or university and be entering junior year or higher.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
- Experience designing, developing, testing, or operating off-road equipment is a plus.
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States.
Additional Details
- Anticipated hourly rate: $22–$28.
- Casual, corporate environment.
- 8 hours of paid time to volunteer in the community.
