About the Role

Saatvik Agro is seeking a Software Engineer Java for a full-time, on-site opportunity in Morena, Madhya Pradesh, India. This role is ideal for individuals interested in Java software development, backend engineering, application development, REST APIs, databases, microservices, cloud technologies, enterprise applications, automation, and modern software-engineering practices.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, test, integrate, maintain, troubleshoot, and improve Java-based applications, backend services, APIs, databases, internal platforms, enterprise systems, automation solutions, and digital tools.
• Collaborate with software, IT, data, analytics, operations, production, supply chain, finance, sales, and other business teams.

Requirements & Tech Stack

• Core Java and object-oriented programming concepts.
• Understanding of data structures, algorithms, collections, exception handling, interfaces, inheritance, polymorphism, abstraction, multithreading, concurrency, and clean coding practices.
• REST APIs, JSON, HTTP/HTTPS, web services, authentication, authorization, API integration, and system integration.
• SQL and NoSQL databases.
• Microservices architecture, distributed systems, service-oriented architecture, scalable applications, or event-driven systems.
• Maven, Gradle, Git, version control, branching, pull requests, debugging, code reviews, and collaborative software-development workflows.
• Unit testing, integration testing, API testing, and automated testing.
• Messaging systems like Kafka, RabbitMQ.
• Cloud platforms like AWS, Microsoft Azure, Google Cloud.
• Docker, Kubernetes, CI/CD pipelines.
• Linux, command-line tools, application deployment, environment configuration, logging, monitoring, and production-support concepts.
• Security concepts: OAuth, JWT, role-based access control, secure coding, input validation, API security, authentication, authorization, and encryption.
• Application performance optimization, database tuning, connection pooling, caching strategies, scalability, reliability, observability, and troubleshooting.
• ORM technologies, repositories, persistence layers, entity relationships, transactions, and backend data-access patterns.
• Frontend technologies (beneficial but not mandatory): HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, TypeScript, React, Angular, Vue.js, or Next.js.
• Automation, data engineering, analytics, AI/ML, generative AI, ERP, CRM, dashboards, reporting systems, or enterprise applications (additional advantage).
• Agile methodologies, Scrum, Jira, SDLC, technical documentation, requirements gathering, user stories, sprint planning, or issue tracking (advantageous but not mandatory).
• Strong analytical, logical, debugging, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
• Good communication, documentation, collaboration, and teamwork abilities.
• Ability to understand and translate business and technical requirements into reliable, scalable, maintainable, and secure Java software solutions.
• Willingness to work in an on-site environment.
• Strong willingness to learn new Java technologies, frameworks, databases, APIs, cloud platforms, testing tools, and modern software-engineering practices.

Qualifications

• B.E. / B.Tech / B.Sc. / BCA / MCA / M.Sc. / M.Tech in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, Computer Applications, Data Science, Artificial Intelligence, or a related discipline.
• Freshers and experienced candidates are encouraged to apply.
• Candidates without previous full-time Java development experience can also apply.
• Internship, academic project, Java project, Spring Boot project, backend project, API project, database project, microservices project, GitHub project, hackathon, freelance assignment, startup project, or open-source contribution will be considered but is not mandatory.

• 0–5 years of experience in Java development, software engineering, backend development, application development, API development, enterprise software, or related technology roles.
