EV Charger Installation Supervisor

About the Role

EVtron Tech is seeking an Installation Supervisor to oversee the installation and commissioning of EV charging infrastructure at customer locations. This role is suited for diploma holders who are comfortable with field work, coordinating installations, and ensuring projects are executed safely and efficiently.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise the installation of EV charging stations at customer sites.
• Coordinate and guide electricians, contractors, and installation teams during project execution.
• Ensure electrical wiring, cable routing, earthing, mounting, and associated installation activities are performed according to company standards.
• Conduct site inspections and verify site readiness before installation.
• Support electrical connections, basic troubleshooting, and minor installation work.
• Assist in charger testing, commissioning, and customer handover.
• Coordinate with customers, vendors, and internal teams for timely project completion.
• Maintain installation checklists, site reports, commissioning records, and project documentation.
• Ensure compliance with electrical safety practices, company procedures, and applicable standards.
• Monitor installation quality and report technical or site-related issues.
• Support preventive maintenance, service visits, and installation audits.
• Travel to customer locations for installation, commissioning, and project support.

Requirements & Tech Stack

• Diploma in Electrical & Electronics Engineering (EEE), Electrical Engineering, Electronics, or a related discipline.
• ITI (Electrician) candidates with relevant experience are also encouraged to apply.
• Basic understanding of electrical wiring, single-phase and three-phase systems, MCBs, DBs, earthing, conduits, and electrical safety practices.
• Good communication, coordination, and problem-solving skills.
• Comfortable working at customer sites and traveling for installation projects.
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced startup environment.

It's a Plus If You Have

• Experience in EV charger installation, solar installations, industrial electrical systems, or automation projects.
• Experience supervising electricians or installation contractors.
• Familiarity with electrical testing tools such as multimeters, clamp meters, or insulation testers.
• Basic troubleshooting experience with electrical equipment.
• Valid two-wheeler driving license.
• Startup experience or the ability to handle multiple responsibilities independently.
• Interest in electric mobility and sustainable infrastructure.
