Academic Counsellor

About the Role

Technula-Gaj is seeking a motivated, empathetic, and student-focused Academic Counsellor to join their team in Sector 85, Faridabad. The role involves guiding students and parents on educational programs, identifying suitable learning opportunities, and assisting with academic decisions. This position is ideal for individuals passionate about education, student development, and exploring opportunities in STEM, AI, robotics, and coding.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide personalized academic guidance to students based on their interests, abilities, and goals.
• Communicate with parents to explain programs and address queries regarding technology-driven education.
• Recommend suitable courses in STEM, robotics, artificial intelligence, coding, and related areas.
• Handle student and parent enquiries, and follow up with prospective learners.
• Build positive relationships with students and encourage participation in educational programs.
• Assist students in identifying strengths, establishing academic goals, and exploring educational/career pathways.
• Support the organization of counselling sessions, workshops, and information sessions.
• Maintain accurate records of student interactions, enquiries, and enrolment information.
• Coordinate with internal teams such as teachers, trainers, and admissions.
• Follow up with interested students and parents, and provide timely program information.
• Stay updated on educational trends and emerging technologies for relevant guidance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Education, Psychology, Counselling, or a related field is preferred.
• Previous experience in academic counselling, educational counselling, admissions counselling, or student support is an advantage.
• Experience interacting with parents and students in schools, colleges, coaching institutes, or EdTech organizations is desirable.
• Familiarity with STEM education, robotics, coding, AI programs, or technology-based learning is an added advantage.
• Freshers with excellent communication skills and a strong interest in education may also apply.
