About the Role
Craftmen Studio is a luxury interior design firm with over 11 years of experience creating refined, enduring spaces. This is an on-site internship role based in New Delhi for an Interior Design Intern. Interns will gain exposure to high-end residential projects and a detail-oriented design process, focusing on homes that balance visual luxury with everyday comfort and practicality.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the design team with space planning, mood boards, and layout drawings.
- Assist in selecting furniture, fixtures, and equipment (FF&E) that align with project concepts.
- Prepare presentations.
- Update design documentation.
- Coordinate samples and material boards.
- Maintain project files.
- Communicate with team members, vendors, and contractors under supervision.
- Conduct basic site measurements or visits.
- Help ensure design intent is accurately executed.
Requirements & Tech Stack
- AutoCAD, SketchUp, Revit, or similar design and drafting software.
- Basic presentation tools.
Qualifications
- Strong foundational skills in Interior Design and Space Planning.
- Knowledge of furniture design and selection.
- Familiarity with FF&E (fixtures, fittings, and equipment).
- Effective Communication skills.
- Attention to detail.
- Willingness to learn.
- Ability to follow design guidelines and timelines.
- Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree/diploma in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field.
- Understanding of materials, finishes, and contemporary design trends is an advantage.
