About the Role

This is an opportunity to join HCA Florida Sarasota Doctors Hospital, part of HCA Healthcare.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform routine duties related to preparation and serving of food.
• Prepare food for cooking by washing, peeling, shredding, slicing, and mixing various food items.
• Operate dishwasher or assist with washing/sterilizing dishes, glassware, silverware, utensils, pots, pans, etc.
• Clean kitchen work areas.
• Collect and dispose of garbage.
• Assist with food stocking.
• Serve food in the cafeteria for visitors and staff, and in patient rooms.
• Work in the dish room when needed.
• Work on the patient tray assembly line following menu directives for determining food items for each tray.
• Follow Standard Precautions using personal protective equipment as required.
