About the Role

We’re seeking a dedicated and compassionate Medical Assistant to join our growing surgical and aesthetic practice. This role is ideal for someone who is organized, detail-oriented, patient-focused, and excited to support both clinical care and the overall patient experience. The Medical Assistant will work closely with providers, surgical staff, patient care coordinators, and the broader practice team to help ensure smooth clinic flow, accurate documentation, clean and prepared treatment areas, and exceptional support before, during, and after patient visits.

Key Responsibilities

  • Room patients and prepare them for appointments, consultations, treatments, and procedures.
  • Assist providers with patient examinations, treatments, and in-office procedures.
  • Prepare and maintain exam rooms and treatment rooms, including supplies, equipment, cleanliness, and safety protocols.
  • Obtain and document patient information, medical history, vitals, treatment notes, and other clinical details as needed.
  • Support patient flow by coordinating with providers, surgical staff, and patient care coordinators.
  • Help answer patient questions and provide warm, professional support before, during, and after visits.
  • Provide or reinforce pre-treatment and post-treatment instructions within scope and under provider direction.
  • Maintain accurate and confidential patient records in accordance with HIPAA and company standards.
  • Follow infection control, OSHA, safety, and clinical compliance protocols.
  • Restock supplies, maintain inventory awareness, and support daily clinic readiness.
  • Contribute to a positive, polished, and patient-centered experience.

Requirements & Tech Stack

  • Medical Assistant certification preferred but not required unless required by applicable law or final role scope.
  • Strong communication skills and a warm, professional bedside manner.
  • Comfort working directly with patients in a clinical or aesthetic setting.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to follow clinical protocols.
  • Ability to multitask in a busy practice while staying organized and calm.
  • Team-oriented mindset and willingness to jump in where needed.
  • Interest in aesthetics, plastic surgery, wellness, and patient experience.
  • Commitment to confidentiality, professionalism, safety, and compliance.

Qualifications

  • Prior Medical Assistant, clinical assistant, surgical practice, dermatology, plastic surgery, med spa, or aesthetics experience preferred.

Compensation: $21 – $23 per hour, based on experience.

Schedule: Monday through Friday. Flexibility may be needed based on business and patient needs.

Physical requirements may include standing and walking for extended periods, assisting with room setup and clinic flow, using hands and fingers for clinical tasks, handling medical supplies and equipment, and occasionally lifting or moving standard clinic inventory or equipment.
