Key Responsibilities
- Assist in the installation, maintenance, and repair of pharmaceutical manufacturing equipment.
- Perform basic fitting, assembly, dismantling, and alignment activities under the supervision of senior technicians.
- Assist in preventive and breakdown maintenance of pumps, valves, pipelines, gearboxes, and other mechanical equipment.
- Support maintenance activities related to manufacturing, utility, and packaging equipment.
- Use hand tools, measuring instruments, and workshop equipment safely.
- Follow Good Engineering Practices (GEP), Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), and applicable safety procedures.
- Maintain cleanliness and housekeeping in the maintenance workshop and work areas.
- Use appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) while performing maintenance activities.
- Maintain maintenance records and assist in completing work orders as instructed.
- Follow instructions from the Engineering Supervisor and report equipment abnormalities promptly.
- Willingness to work in shifts, if required.
- Willingness to work in a pharmaceutical manufacturing environment.
Requirements & Tech Stack
- Basic knowledge of fitting tools and mechanical components.
- Understanding of measuring instruments and engineering drawings is desirable.
- Willingness to learn preventive maintenance and troubleshooting activities.
- Good discipline, teamwork, and communication skills.
- Ability to follow safety instructions and company procedures.
Qualifications
- ITI Fitter / ITI Mechanical candidates.
