About the Role
Wedbush Securities is seeking current college students with a strong work ethic who have excelled academically, in their communities, and in extracurricular activities for an internship opportunity. This internship offers a chance to work with and learn from talented professionals in the securities industry.
Key Responsibilities
- Build company-specific financial and valuation models.
- Assist in gathering information from proprietary sources.
- Synthesize research to write company and industry reports.
- Provide general support to the equity research team.
- Conduct company research, industry due diligence, and other projects as assigned.
- Create initiation reports and financial models.
- Perform other tasks and duties as required and assigned.
Requirements & Tech Stack
- Enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate degree program at an accredited U.S. college or university.
- Superb quantitative and analytical skills.
- Exceptionally strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to maintain a high degree of accuracy in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
- Ability to work independently as well as within a team and prioritize daily work flow with little direction.
- Advanced Excel skills required.
- Strong work ethic and academic achievement.
- A passion for the securities industry.
- U.S. Citizen/Permanent Resident (Green Card Holder) required.
Compensation: $25.00 per hour
