About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Junior Web Developer to join our team remotely. In this full-time role, you will play a vital part in supporting the development, enhancement, and maintenance of Linkedin’s web presence.

Key Responsibilities

• Support the design and development of web applications that enhance user engagement and operational efficiency.
• Implement and refine front-end components to ensure consistent and accessible user experiences across devices.
• Assist with back-end integration, data handling, and API connections.
• Participate in code reviews, follow best practices for coding and documentation, and contribute to maintaining clean, scalable, and maintainable codebases.
• Troubleshoot and debug website issues promptly to minimize downtime.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand project requirements, translate designs into functional features, and assist in deploying updates and new features.
• Stay current with industry trends and continuously seek opportunities to improve website performance and security.

Requirements & Tech Stack

• Proficiency in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
• Experience with back-end programming languages or frameworks such as Node.js, Python, or PHP.
• Familiarity with version control systems like Git.
• Ability to troubleshoot issues, optimize site performance, and support deployment processes.

Qualifications

• A solid foundation in web development with skills spanning both front-end and back-end technologies.
• Experience with collaborative development workflows.
• A background in Computer Science, Web Development, or related fields—through coursework, bootcamps, or practical projects—is highly desirable but not mandatory.
• Strong communication skills.
• A willingness to learn.
• Ability to work effectively in a remote environment.
