Software Engineer

About the Role

We are looking to connect with talented Software Engineers to design, develop, test, and maintain software applications. Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and maintain software applications based on business and technical requirements.
• Write clean, efficient, reusable, and maintainable code.
• Develop and integrate APIs, backend services, and application components.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand requirements and deliver software solutions.
• Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve software defects and performance issues.
• Participate in code reviews, testing, debugging, and deployment activities.
• Work with databases to store, retrieve, and manage application data.
• Follow software development best practices, coding standards, and version-control procedures.
• Contribute to application improvements, system upgrades, and technical documentation.
• Participate in Agile/Scrum development processes and continuous improvement initiatives.

Requirements & Tech Stack

• Knowledge of at least one programming language, such as Java, Python, JavaScript, C#, or C++.
• Understanding of data structures, algorithms, and object-oriented programming (OOP).
• Familiarity with software development life cycle (SDLC) principles.
• Understanding of databases and SQL fundamentals.
• Knowledge of Git or other version-control systems.
• Familiarity with debugging, testing, and troubleshooting techniques.
• Understanding of APIs and basic software architecture.
• Strong analytical, logical reasoning, and problem-solving skills.
• Good communication and collaboration abilities.

Preferred Skills

• Frontend technologies: HTML, CSS, JavaScript, React.js, or Angular.
• Backend technologies: Node.js, Spring Boot, .NET, Django, or Flask.
• Databases: MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, or SQL Server.
• Cloud platforms: AWS, Microsoft Azure, or Google Cloud.
• REST APIs and microservices architecture.
• Docker and containerization.
• CI/CD tools and deployment pipelines.
• Unit testing and automated testing frameworks.
• Agile/Scrum methodologies.
• Basic knowledge of data structures, system design, and application security.

Qualifications

• A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, Engineering, or a related field is preferred.
• Candidates with relevant programming skills, practical projects, internships, or equivalent hands-on experience may also be considered.
