Admission Counsellor

About the Role

Delhi Public School, SPR, Sector 70A, Gurugram is seeking an Admission Counsellor for a full-time, on-site role. The school is a new campus opening in April 2027, bringing over 70 years of the DPS legacy. This role is crucial for managing admissions enquiries and guiding prospective families through the admission process for the founding session 2027–28.

Key Responsibilities

• Managing admissions enquiries.
• Guiding prospective families through the admission process.
• Providing accurate information about the school’s philosophy, curriculum, facilities, and policies.
• Responding to phone, email, and walk-in enquiries.
• Conducting campus tours.
• Scheduling and coordinating interactions or assessments.
• Supporting applicants with forms and documentation.
• Maintaining admission records and databases.
• Following up with prospective families.
• Collaborating with academic and administrative teams to ensure a smooth and welcoming experience.
• Participating in admission events and outreach activities.
• Providing feedback on admission trends to support the school’s founding goals.

Qualifications

• Strong Communication and Interpersonal Communication skills.
• Customer Service skills.
• Sales-related skills, including the ability to present the school’s value proposition and convert enquiries into admissions ethically and transparently.
• Understanding of Education environments, preferably with prior experience in schools or academic institutions.
• Bachelor’s degree in Education, Communications, Marketing, or a related field is beneficial.
• Proficiency with MS Office.
• Proficiency with admission management systems is preferred.
• Attention to detail is preferred.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced founding environment is preferred.
