About the Role
We are looking for a compassionate and motivated Health Care Specialist (HCS) to provide ostomy care education, patient support, and healthcare product awareness. The role involves coordinating with hospitals and healthcare professionals, generating patient leads, supporting product availability, and achieving sales targets.
Key Responsibilities
- Educate patients and caregivers on stoma care, ostomy pouch usage, hygiene, and skin care.
- Demonstrate pouch fitting, replacement, and proper maintenance procedures.
- Coordinate with surgeons, hospitals, clinics, and wound care specialists.
- Generate and follow up on patient leads from healthcare institutions.
- Identify retailers and sub-dealers and ensure product availability.
- Achieve assigned sales targets and patient lead generation goals.
- Provide dietary and lifestyle guidance related to ostomy management within professional scope.
- Monitor patient concerns and coordinate with healthcare professionals when medical attention is required.
- Maintain patient records, consent forms, and regular reports.
- Share patient and market feedback to support new product development.
Requirements & Tech Stack
- BSc Nursing / GNM Nursing / Any Degree.
- Experience in nursing, patient care, wound care, ostomy care, or healthcare sales is preferred.
- Knowledge of stoma care and ostomy pouching systems is an advantage.
- Good communication, patient counseling, and interpersonal skills.
- Willingness to travel and coordinate with hospitals and healthcare institutions.
- Compassionate approach and strong follow-up skills.
