Key Responsibilities

• Ace Retail Operations: Ensure daily store tasks like pricing, shipment processing, fulfillment, and inventory are managed effectively. Maintain a clean, organized store and ensure styles are easily shoppable.
• Be a Famous Culture Influencer: Champion the Famous culture by embodying behaviors that power Customer Connection. Provide stellar customer engagement and deliver styles and brands customers crave.
• Elevate to Your Goal-Crushing Era: Bring your best to each day and take accountability for your effort's impact on Famous Footwear's overall performance. Review store performance and drive sales to achieve goals. Deliver clear, concise, and timely communications to the store team and employ active listening.
• Act with Integrity: Adhere to company policies and procedures. Be open to and seek feedback to improve your skillset and further your professional development.

Other responsibilities may be performed as needed to ensure the needs of the business are met. Overtime hours may be required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED
• Able to build constructive and effective relationships within the store.
• Demonstrates an ability to communicate positively with store associates at all levels.
• Must exercise independent judgment and discretion partnering with Store Sales Manager and/or Assistant Managers, as needed.
• Working knowledge of general retail practices and procedures.
• Ability to work effectively within a team.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule to meet the needs of the business, including holidays, nights, weekends and extended hours.

Physical Requirements And/Or Environment

• Ability to regularly lift up to 40 lbs. from floor level to above shoulder height utilizing appropriate equipment and safety techniques.
• Ability to meet demands of frequent walking, standing, stooping, kneeling, climbing, pushing, pulling, and repetitive lifting.
• Ability to be mobile on the sales floor for extended periods of time.
