About the Role
JP Associates – Architects is an architecture firm based in Gandhinagar, Gujarat, India, providing services in architectural design, interior design, and master planning. The firm focuses on thoughtful, context-sensitive design solutions.
This is a full-time, on-site Junior Architect role in Gandhinagar.
Key Responsibilities
- Support senior architects with concept development, detailed architectural drawings, and design documentation.
- Prepare CAD drawings and 3D models.
- Assist in interior layouts.
- Coordinate with consultants.
- Compile presentations and client deliverables.
- Conduct site visits and basic measurement surveys.
- Support compliance with local building codes and regulations.
- Contribute to design reviews.
- Maintain project files.
- Help ensure timely completion of project milestones.
Requirements & Tech Stack
- AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, or similar industry-standard design software.
- Manual drafting and visualization skills.
- Software Development and Integration skills related to design tools and workflows (e.g., integrating CAD/BIM software with visualization or project coordination platforms).
Qualifications
- Solid foundation in Architecture and Architectural Design, including building systems, spatial planning, and design principles.
- Project Management abilities, including basic scheduling, task tracking, and coordination.
- Professional architecture degree (B.Arch or equivalent).
- Attention to detail.
- Ability to interpret and produce technical drawings.
- Effective communication skills.
- Willingness to learn.
- Ability to work collaboratively on-site with multidisciplinary teams.
- Knowledge of local building codes and regulations in Gujarat.
- Prior internship or junior-level experience in an architectural firm is an advantage.
