About the Role
You will work directly with the founder on partnerships that drive Hightable’s growth, including ecosystem partners, event sponsors, investors, corporates, and startup-service providers. This is a hands-on role where you will learn how a community-led venture platform is built and operated, and you will own real outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify, research, and shortlist potential partners, sponsors, investors, and community collaborators.
- Conduct outreach via LinkedIn, email, and WhatsApp, and follow up through to closure.
- Build and maintain the partnership pipeline and CRM, with clear tracking and reporting to the founder.
- Prepare pitch decks, partnership proposals, and one-pagers.
- Support event partnerships, including sponsor coordination, speaker and investor invites, and mixers.
- Onboard new members and partners, and maintain active relationships post-deal.
- Research startup ecosystems, competitors, and market trends, and synthesize them into short insights.
- Undertake ad-hoc strategic projects across operations, go-to-market (GTM), and fundraising support.
Requirements & Tech Stack
- Final-year student, recent graduate, or someone early in their career (any discipline).
- Strong written and spoken English.
- Confident in cold-reaching senior individuals.
- Comfortable with rejection, persistent, and skilled in following up.
- Organized with good working knowledge of Google Workspace, Notion, or a CRM.
- Curious about startups, venture capital, and the ecosystem.
- Able to work from the BTM Layout office for the full 6 months.
Good to have: prior sales, business development (BD), community, or event experience, an existing network in the startup ecosystem, or LinkedIn content skills.
