About the Role

Cadence Academy Preschool, a member of Cadence Education, is seeking a vibrant Teacher Assistant to join their team. This role focuses on creating a fun, nurturing environment for preschoolers.

Key Responsibilities

• Foster a warm, positive classroom where children feel safe to explore, play, and grow.
• Team up with fellow educators to deliver an engaging, age-appropriate curriculum that sparks joy.
• Share daily milestones with parents.
• Guide children’s play with toys, language, and activities, prioritizing safety and curiosity.
• Model kindness and social behaviors.
• Contribute ideas for a daily schedule that includes quiet time, active fun, indoor/outdoor adventures, and fine/gross motor activities.
• Embrace Cadence’s philosophy, creating a nurturing, growth-filled space for every child.
• Collaborate with your team to craft a curriculum that’s fun and educational.
• Support children’s interests, ensure safety, and turn play into learning adventures.
• Foster social skills and behaviors that set children up for success.
• Share creative ideas to design a balanced daily schedule bursting with discovery.

Requirements & Tech Stack

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• At least 18 years old.
• Meets all state preschool teacher assistant requirements.
• High flexibility and willingness to work within business hours.
• Preferred: Previous experience as a teacher assistant or in a licensed daycare.

Hourly Pay

• $16.40 - $19.40
