About the Role
East India Hotels (EIH) is seeking a skilled Technician to join their Engineering team in a full-time capacity. This role involves responding to repair requests and performing preventive and corrective maintenance in guest rooms and common areas, ensuring guest comfort and system reliability.
Key Responsibilities
- Respond promptly to guest room repair requests and ensure guest satisfaction.
- Install, maintain, diagnose, and repair electrical systems, lighting fixtures, intercoms, and meters (DT, Feeder, CT).
- Perform HVAC and RSC (Room Service / Room Comfort) maintenance.
- Handle plumbing and Kenfixit tasks as per role allocation.
- Conduct routine inspections and preventive maintenance.
- Troubleshoot electrical, HVAC, plumbing, or related issues, identify root causes, and implement corrective actions.
- Collaborate with other departments to schedule maintenance with minimal guest disruption.
- Ensure work complies with safety, regulatory, and hotel standards.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance, repair work, and replacement of parts and meters.

Qualifications
- Education: Minimum 12th grade plus ITI + NCVT certificate OR Diploma in Electrical / Mechanical Engineering.
- Experience: ITI freshers are eligible. Prior experience of at least 1 year in a similar role is a benefit.
- Age: Below 25 years.
- Good command of English; effective verbal communication, especially when interacting with guests.
